American Career College invites qualified faculty to join its Pharmacy Technician program, guiding students through instruction and clinical practice to prepare for entry-level roles in healthcare.

The successful candidate will bring at least three years of practice experience, hold California licensure or registration, and participate in ongoing professional development, student mentoring, and college activities.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years of experience in the practice setting or area of expertise they are teaching.
• California licensure or registration to practice as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate from an accredited program in the specialty taught.

Responsabilités

• Delivering class and/or clinical instruction according to an approved course syllabus using accepted and effective teaching methods.
• Developing daily lesson plans; advises and tutors students.
• Maintaining current and accurate attendance and grade records.
• Remaining current in applicable program teaching field.
• Participating in faculty meetings, professional growth activities in the respective field and two (2) in-service training sessions annually.
• Participating in college activities such as in-services, faculty meetings, student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings. Strives for student success by providing quality instruction that results in students' achievement of course and program objectives, retention of students, and prepares students for entry-level positions in the healthcare field.
