Job summary

ERP International, LLC seeks a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time role supporting the Pharmacy Department at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. Normal hours are 0730-1630, Monday–Friday, with 24/7 inpatient and ER coverage as needed.

The position requires completion of ASHP-accredited training, PTCB certification, and at least one year of experience, plus ability to obtain security clearance and BLS certification. Excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree: Certificate.
• Graduate from an ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician program.
• Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• One year of experience as a pharmacy technician after graduation.
• Must pass a Government background check/security clearance.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
• Dispense prescriptions, fill new and refilled orders, and enter orders into databases.
• Provide information consultations: support patient requests and physician requests, monitor drug interactions, report adverse reactions.
• Conduct quality improvement duties: inspect drug storage, review expired supplies, produce error/workload reports.
• Manage supply process: place new orders, stock shelves, maintain inventory, generate not-in-stock reports.
