Job summary
Vantage Search Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Anchorage, AK. The role includes dispensing outpatient prescriptions, filling orders, and entering data into databases.

Qualifications
- Completion of ASHP-accredited technician program or formal pharmacy technician program or US Military training.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent post-grad experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Responsibilities
- Dispense outpatient prescriptions and fill orders.
- Enter orders into databases and support new/refill prescriptions.
- Consult with patients and staff, monitor drug interactions, and report adverse reactions.
- Perform quality checks: drug storage inspection, expired supplies review, and reporting.
- Place new orders, stock shelves, maintain inventory, and generate not-in-stock reports.
