Job summary

7505 Caremark, L.L.C. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform filling, shipping and packing of prescription orders in accordance with SOPs. Responsibilities include receiving and replenishing inventory, using RF devices, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.

The role is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm CT, with a full-time schedule. Licensed TX Pharmacy Technician and shipping/packing experience are required, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in TX required.
• Shipping/packing experience in a production/quality-focused environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the length of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Fill, ship and pack prescription orders per SOPs.
• Receive and replenish inventory and manage material receipts.
• Operate RF devices and equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Coordinate with Inventory Coordinator on variances and exceptions.
• Process incoming transfers and vendor returns.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area.

Job description

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician will perform functions of filling, shipping and/or packing of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. May work in any of the assigned functions Cold packing, Single bagging, Control room and Bulk packing.

• Performs duties related to the process of all receiving and replenishment of product through the facility to include direct and wholesaler products as well as supplies of inventory.
• Performs functions related to the receipt of material including the loading and unloading of trucks, matching the manifest to received material.
• Utilizes RF devices as well as operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to receive material.
• Works with Inventory Coordinator on receiving variances (shortages & overages) and exceptions (damages & expirations).
• Processes incoming transfers and works with Inventory Coordinator on vendor returns.
• Ensures the warehouse area is clean and well organized.

Work Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm CT

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas
• Shipping/Packing experience, or similar work experience, in an environment which features objectives for both quantity (production) and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, walk and to stand, for the length of the shift.
• Ability to push and pull heavy mail bins.
• Ability to use 10-key pad on the computer.
• Must be able to maintain a focus on work, to meet production requirements, without compromising quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail or PBM experience
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Education
• High School diploma or GED

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
