CVS Health is seeking a Packing & Shipping Technician for our mail-order pharmacy. In this full-time role, you will prepare, pack and ship prescription medications across the country in a closed‑door environment, with a strong focus on accuracy, safety and quality.

Comprehensive training is provided to help you start a healthcare career and grow. The position guarantees 40 hours per week with the following schedule: Sunday 2:00 PM–12:30 AM and Monday–Wednesday 3:00 PM–1:30 AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted PA Pharmacy Technician license or trainee license.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pack and ship prescription orders according to established procedures.
• Verify accuracy and quality of prescription packages.
• Operate automated packing and shipping equipment.
• Support prescription fulfillment and distribution processes.
• Assist with loading and maintaining automated dispensing systems.

About the Role

As a Packing & Shipping Technician, you'll help ensure prescription medications are prepared, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently to patients across the country. Working in a closed-door pharmacy environment, you'll be part of a dedicated team committed to quality, safety, and exceptional service. Cross‑training opportunities are available in additional pharmacy fulfillment functions, providing valuable experience and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack and ship prescription orders according to established procedures
• Verify accuracy and quality of prescription packages
• Operate automated packing and shipping equipment
• Support prescription fulfillment and distribution processes
• Assist with loading and maintaining automated dispensing systems
• Perform packaging, validation, and delivery‑related functions
• Follow all pharmacy, safety, and quality standards
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Supervisors, Lead Technicians, and team members to meet operational goals

Shift: Sunday: 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM and Monday through Wednesday: 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM Shift Differential: +$1.00/hour for all hours worked.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unrestricted Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license on the first day of employment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work required overtime as business needs demand

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, fulfillment center, healthcare, medical, or production environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility to support overtime, early starts, late stays, and occasional weekend coverage when needed

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift, carry, move, or position items weighing up to 40 pounds
• Bend, stoop, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Use hands and fingers for picking, pinching, typing, and handling items
• Read labels, computer screens, and small print accurately

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
