Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician in Texas to support filling, shipping and packing prescription orders. You will work across Cold packing, Single bagging, Control room and Bulk packing as needed.

Required licensure in Texas, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and 20 hours per week. Training possible; shifts include Mondays and Tuesdays 7:00am–5:30pm CT. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Fill, ship and pack prescription orders per SOPs
• Handle receiving and replenishment of products
• Operate RF devices and handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Coordinate with Inventory Coordinator on variances and vendor returns
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse area

Position Summary

The part-time Pharmacy Technician will perform functions of filling, shipping and/or packing of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. May work in any of the assigned functions Cold packing, Single bagging, Control room and Bulk packing.

• Part-time work shift is Monday and Tuesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm CT.
• Ability to train full-time for 1 week is preferred, Monday-Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm CT.

Performs duties related to the process of all receiving and replenishment of product through the facility to include direct and wholesaler products as well as supplies of inventory.

Performs functions related to the receipt of material including the loading and unloading of trucks, matching the manifest to received material.

Utilizes RF devices as well as operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to receive material.

Works with Inventory Coordinator on receiving variances (shortages & overages) and exceptions (damages & expirations).

Processes incoming transfers and works with Inventory Coordinator on vendor returns.

Ensures the warehouse area is clean and well organized.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas
• Shipping/Packing experience, or similar work experience, in an environment which features objectives for both quantity (production) and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, walk and to stand, for the length of the shift.
• Ability to push and pull heavy mail bins.
• Ability to use 10-key pad on the computer.
• Must be able to maintain a focus on work, to meet production requirements, without compromising quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous PBM experience
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician

Pay Range

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
