Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist.
• Data entry of a prescription including evaluation of patient cost, insurance, and therapy.
• Types labels for bottles.
• Assists pharmacist in preparing prescriptions for retail, mail order, and medset settings.
• Processes records of medications dispensed and computes charges.
• Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies under supervision.
• Responsible for inventory control and storage of items.
• Removes slow or outdated drugs from stock and proceeds with disposal.
• Maintains a clean, orderly department environment and adheres to standards.
• Supports ANHC values and mission.
