Job summary

Martin's Point Health Care in Maine is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for full-time daytime hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time hires is offered. You will support pharmacists in fulfilling prescription orders, service patients, and help meet organizational goals.

The role emphasizes accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and efficient operation of pharmacy tasks while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy license for state applying prior to start date.
• National Pharmacy Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate patient profiles for prescriptions and insurance.
• Balance quality and efficiency across pharmacy tasks to support patient outcomes.
• Answer inquiries on drug coverage, prices, formulary, and services.
• Adhere to HIPAA, DOD, CMS, state and federal laws and policies.
• Perform data entry, filling, shipping, call center, register and inventory tasks.
• Use Athena EMR to communicate with internal staff about refills and questions.
