Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to handle medication order entry for facilities, ensuring accurate patient profiles and physician orders and supporting third-party billing.

You will provide customer service and resolve issues, and maintain precise medication data for each patient and facility. The role may require travel to homes or facilities for meetings or drug exchanges, and assisting in orienting and training new staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Preferred: AS Degree or higher in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy is preferred.
• 3–6 months experience as a pharmacy technician is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Enter medication orders for facilities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure Third Party claims are billed properly and in full.
• Maintain patient and facility data with up-to-date information.
• Provide customer service and resolve problems for assigned facilities.
• Assist in training new employees and orienting staff as needed.
• Travel to facilities or homes for meetings or exchanges when required.
