Scope of Responsibilities

Works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. May assist in orienting and training employees.

Job Summary

Responsible for all aspects related to entering medication orders for various facilities, ensuring proper billing of Third-Party claims.

Job Duties

• Provides customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities.
• Responsible for accurate data entry of patient profiles and medications.
• Maintains accurate information for patients and facilities.
• Handles billing and crediting for each facility monthly.
• Maintains production levels as determined by supervisor.
• May travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges.
• Assists in orienting and training new employees.
• Completes all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Attendance Requirements

• Must be available and punctual for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred AS Degree or higher in Business Administration or related field.

Experience

• Preferred experience in hospital, long-term care, or retail pharmacy.
• 3-6 months experience as a pharmacy technician.

State Registration Requirements

• Vermont: Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.
• New Hampshire: Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Ohio: Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician.

Compensation

$14.56 - $19.45 per hour. The final offer will be based on skills, experience, and education. KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. complies with all wage regulations.
