Job summary

Saliba’s Extended Care Pharmacy, a Guardian family member, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Customer Service in Phoenix, AZ. You will support facilities with orders, answer questions, and help ensure accurate data entry.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of related experience, an active Arizona tech license, and a preference for national certification (PTCB). Training hours may vary, with a focus on high-quality service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Arizona technician license required.
  • 2+ years related experience; national certification preferred (PTCB).
  • Strong computer and pharmacy operations system skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls from facilities promptly and professionally.
  • Create telephone orders for refills, new orders, and triage to Order Entry.
  • Refill orders in the pharmacy system as needed and communicate with facilities.

If you are looking for a challenging, team-oriented environment in which you can put your expertise to work, then this is the place for you.**Position Details:*** **Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Training hours differ)*** **Pay: $20.00 - $23.00*** **Location: Saliba's Pharmacy - 925 E Covey Lane, Phoenix, AZ 85024****Requirements:*** **Active Arizona pharmacy technician license required*** **Call center or phone-based customer service experience preferred**Provide excellent customer service to the facilities in taking orders, answering questions, referring information and phone calls to the appropriate departments. **Attributes Required: • Work Ethic/Integrity – must possess intrinsic drive to excel coupled with values in line with company philosophy • Strategy and Planning – ability to think ahead, plan and manage time efficiently • Problem Solving – ability to analyze causes and solve problems at both a strategic and functional level • Team Oriented – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all team members** **Essential Job Functions (include the following):** • Answering phone calls from facilities in a timely manner while being professional and courteous • Creating telephone order for refills, new orders, and/or backup and triaging into the appropriate queues for Order Entry staff to complete. • Refill orders in pharmacy computer system if facility calls and request (if not complicated) • Follow up with customers as needed (if you told a customer you would return their phone call, call them back in a timely manner) • Answering facility questions or referring them to the proper resource for answer • Take Credit Card information over the phone for payments • Work with Medical Records to update on resident information, or anything else that is changed. Make telephone orders for medical records and send to appropriate queues for medical records. • Take orders from Doctor’s offices and triaging to appropriate queues. • Check assigned facility faxes daily; any issues, contact Order Entry • Link delivery sheets into Docutrack. • Check original prescriptions sent in tote or by mail, scan into Docutrack and link.
