Job summary

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - CSC Sterile Compounding in Meridian, Idaho. The role involves sterile compounding in a cleanroom, maintaining compliance, accurate measurements, labeling, and recordkeeping.

You will help keep the facility organized and well-stocked and support pre/post-sterile processes across multiple sites. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Idaho pharmacy technician license; two+ years' experience and CPhT are

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding medications in a cleanroom using aseptic technique.
• Maintain and document cleanroom and equipment compliance, including gowning and environmental controls.
• Perform accurate medication measurements, labeling and recordkeeping, and keep the pharmacy organized and stocked.
• Ensure the pharmacy area is thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

Our Sterile Compounding Pharmacies include Cancer Institute, Infusion Center pharmacies, and the Consolidated Service Center.

• Sterile Compounding Technicians expertly prepare medications in a cleanroom environment using aseptic techniques and meeting USP / standards.
• Maintain and document cleanroom and equipment compliance, including proper gowning, hood cleaning and environmental controls.
• Perform accurate medication measurements, calculations, labeling and recordkeeping., and ensure the Pharmacy is thoroughly cleaned, organized and well-stocked.

What You Can Expect from this position:

• LOCATION: Consolidated Service Center 703 S. Black Cat Road - Meridian
• SCHEDULE/SHIFTS : Variable shifts
• Receive shift differential pay; certification pay for PTCB Adv. Certification; preceptor pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Idaho pharmacy technician License

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) + years' experience
• CPhT
