Responsibilities

• Procure, distribute, and enter patient information and medication orders per physician requests and policies.
• Enter patient information into the pharmacy database accurately and promptly.
• Fill physician orders, medication kits, carts, or stock requests on time and accurately.
• Replenish medications in crash carts or stock areas.
• Prepare intravenous admixture or other sterile preparations.
• Deliver medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas.
• Maintain stock levels according to policies and procedures.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Rotate stock to ensure use before expiration.
• Provide customer service at the window and over the phone.
