Northeast Grocery is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications under supervision. The role includes data entry, patient counseling, and supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Possess basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable federal, state laws, pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Prepares and dispenses prescription medications, all supervised by the Pharmacist.
• Follow directions from the pharmacist on duty and pharmacy manager.
• Enter customer data into the computer, keep accurate records, complete all necessary paperwork relating to the pharmacy.
• Counsel’s patients and medical providers regarding the nature and use of drugs, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
• Fulfill general housekeeping duties.
• Achievement of financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense.
• Maintain security of all controlled substances.
