The University of Iowa is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Acute Care Pediatrics. This role involves managing medication inventory, compounding products, and ensuring medication security under pharmacist supervision. The position offers full-time hours with shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, including weekends. Candidates can apply as either a Technician Trainee or Certified Technician, with specific qualifications required for each role.
Under general pharmacist supervision, coordinates and performs technical activities in dispensing areas. Supports development, coordination, and training of assigned areas under the supervision of a technician supervisor. Provides functional supervision as needed. Shifts are 8 hours between 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, every other weekend.

Additional qualifications: Ability to calculate ratios & proportions; experience with inventory, teamwork, detail-oriented work, computer skills, and patient interaction. Preference for Silver Level National Career Readiness Certificate.
