Mercy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Buyer I to join our pharmacy team. The role focuses on inventory management, purchasing, and ensuring access to medications for patients in hospital and clinic settings.

You will balance stock levels, coordinate orders, and support patient care with efficient procurement. Ideal candidates have pharmacy experience, a high school diploma, and an active pharmacy technician registration, with the goal of obtaining CPhT certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician registration.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience.
• Ability to obtain Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through PTCB within 6 months of hire.

The Pharmacy Tech Buyer I has primary responsibility for managing the wholesale drug distribution procurement for our pharmacies and/or clinics. This co-worker also assists in the inventory management in overall drug purchasing and inventory control processes for the hospital, clinic and/or pharmacy. This co-worker maintains complete records, processes invoices in a timely manner. Performs related duties as assigned.
