Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation is seeking an experienced, customer-service oriented Pharmacy Technician for our new Boriken Community Pharmacyin the East Harlem, NY area. The pharmacy is located in the Boriken Health Center Clinic- This unique position is responsible for the coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders. This includes verifying/re-verifying insurance benefits; translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system; communicating and collecting copay amounts; prior authorizations/reauthorizations; and screening, identifying, resolving or deferring orders

Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care

Logistics

• Pharmacy is located inEast Harlem
• Flexible to cover shifts between Monday & Wednesday 8am to 6:30pm Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 8am to 5:30pm (pharmacy located within clinic)
