VytlOne is seeking an experienced, full-time Pharmacy Technician for our Long Island City clinic-based pharmacy. The role focuses on processing new and refill prescriptions, verifying insurance benefits, and coordinating patient orders while delivering exceptional customer service.

The estimated comepnsation range for this position is $22-27/ hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities

This unique position is responsible for the coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders. This includes verifying/re-verifying insurance benefits; translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system; communicating and collecting copay amounts; prior authorizations/reauthorizations; and screening, identifying, resolving or deferring orders. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Greeting customers and take prescription orders
• Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
• Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
• Answer the phone
• Input customer information into the computer system
