Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician for Baptist Jacksonville. This full-time role runs 6am to 2:30pm, with every other weekend shifts, offering an entry-level path to gain clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include medication preparation, restocking the Omnicell dispensing cabinet, maintaining patient records, and assisting licensed pharmacists under supervision. Florida RPT license is required; CPT is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• RPT with Florida Board of Pharmacy is required.
• CPT certification is preferred.

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Registered Pharmacy Technician to our team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.

This is a full time opportunity working 6am to 2:30pm and every other weekend! This is an entry level position and the perfect opportunity to gain experience in a clinical setting. This candidate will deliver medications to patient floors and stock the Omnicell dispensing cabinet. This candidate will assist with duties within the central pharmacy. A Pharmacy technician license in the state of Florida is required for this position.

As a Pharmacy Technician, Your Job Duties Will Include

• Assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
• Maintaining the drug inventory.
• Maintaining patient records.
• Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Pharmacy Technician Experience

• Less than 1 year Technician Experience

Education & Credential Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy Required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) Preferred

This Registered Pharmacy Technician will be located at Baptist Jacksonville.
