Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Pharmacy Distribution Centre (PDC) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Warehouse / Vaccine Team in a fast-paced, automated environment. The role supports medicines supply across NHSGGC, Argyll & Bute, and regional sites, with daytime shifts on a Monday-Friday pattern.

Registration with GPhC is essential, along with relevant qualifications and experience in stock management, SOPs, GDP and FMD compliance. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Registration with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is essential.
• Completed GPhC-approved competency and knowledge qualifications as listed.
• Commitment to CPD and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Supply medicines to wards, theatres, and community locations ensuring timely delivery.
• Lead stock control and investigate discrepancies.
• Day-to-day warehouse management and staff training.
• Ensure compliance with GDP, FMD, and related regulations.
