Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Colorado for a contract-to-hire position in a retail/outpatient setting. The role involves accurate entry of prescriptions, medication preparation, and insurance processing.

Responsibilities include assisting patients, handling payments, managing inventory, and supporting vaccine orders while ensuring HIPAA compliance and teamwork with pharmacists and clinicians.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred.
• Active and clear Colorado pharmacy technician license.
• Certification from PTCB or NHA required.
• Experience with EPIC Willow preferred; training available if needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system.
• Fill, label, package, and prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Process a variety of insurance claims, including Medicaid, Medicare, commercial, and 340B-eligible prescriptions.
• Assist patients with prescription pickups, refills, transfers, and medication inquiries, referring clinical questions to pharmacists.
• Handle payments following strict cash-handling procedures.
• Manage medication orders, inventory, and stock rotation; ensure removal of expired medications.
• Support clinic medication and vaccine orders.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, medical assistants, and pharmacists for coordinated patient care.
• Deliver compassionate customer service aligned with community health values.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join a dynamic retail/outpatient pharmacy setting serving diverse patient populations, including uninsured and low-income individuals, with an opportunity to enhance your skills in a community-focused environment. This contract-to-hire position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:45 am/7:50 am/8:00 am to 5:30 pm
• One-hour lunch break (12:00 pm to 1:00 pm)
