Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy in Whitestown, IN is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented pharmacy technician associate to join our team. You will help process and ship medications to patients who rely on us, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in a fast-paced setting.

This role offers on-site weekday schedule with potential shift differential and opportunities for growth within Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Indiana pharmacy technician license required.
• Basic math and computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times.

Responsibilities

• Process new and refill prescription requests
• Select and retrieve appropriate medications
• Verify quantities and prepare accurate labels
• Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription-based programs
• Prepare packages for shipment
• Clean equipment and refill workstation supplies
• Learn new internal systems and processes
• Perform other tasks as needed in a fast-paced, pharmacy production setting

Physical Requirements

• Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently
• Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms.
• Work may be in confined areas close to machinery.
• Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise.
