Job summary

Express Scripts Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, is seeking a pharmacy technician associate to help process and ship medications to patients who rely on us. This onsite role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and a starting benefits package.

You will process new and refill prescription requests, verify quantities, prepare labels, and assist with program shipments in a fast-paced pharmacy production setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Pharmacy technician license in the state of Indiana.
• Basic math and computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times.

Responsibilities

• Process new and refill prescription requests.
• Select and retrieve appropriate medications.
• Verify quantities and prepare accurate labels.
• Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription-based programs.
• Prepare packages for shipment.
• Clean equipment and refill workstation supplies.
• Learn new internal systems and processes.
• Perform other tasks as needed in a fast-paced, pharmacy production setting.
