Job summary

Walgreens in Missouri is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be front and center with customers, building strong patient relationships and delivering patient-centered care.

The program includes an ASHP and Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship, guiding you toward becoming a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certified Pharmacy Technician and maintaining the high skill level required in the pharmacy care industry.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related pharmacy duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide friendly customer service and help patients with product questions.
• Support inventory management and maintain stocking and cleanliness of the Pharmacy Department.
• Handle cash registers and assist with store operations as directed by Pharmacy Manager.
