Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Missouri. You will interact with customers, assist pharmacists, and use pharmacy systems to enter information, fill prescriptions, and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
Prefer good math skills for counting and dispensing.
Prefer basic computer skills and store inventory awareness.

Responsibilities

Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
Under pharmacist supervision, assist in pharmacy operations, enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and verify accuracy.
Support inventory management, process third party claims, and help maintain a clean, stocked pharmacy area.
Assist with customer inquiries over the phone and in person; help with checkout and OTC guidance.
Participate in training to earn PTCB certification and ongoing CE credits.
