Job summary

Walgreens is seeking Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Technician Apprentices in Missouri to be front and center in patient care, working closely with pharmacists and customers using the latest pharmacy technology.

Our earn while you learn apprenticeship is ASHP and Department of Labor recognized, guiding you toward PTCB certification and a portable credential. You will be trained to support clinical services and grow within Walgreens as you gain knowledge and confidence.

Qualifications

Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Retail experience preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy duties.
Process prescriptions and access patient and drug information via pharmacy systems.
Maintain inventory and assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking.
Deliver a positive customer experience and build patient relationships.
Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register when needed.
