Job summary

Walgreens is seeking Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centric team. You will interact with customers, assist pharmacists, and support daily pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail setting.

We offer an ASHP & Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship, helping you pursue PTCB certification and advance your career in health care. Training emphasizes accurate prescription processing and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems, and coach others if PTCB certified.
Deliver a positive customer experience and build strong patient relationships.
Assist with inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storage of pharmaceutical supplies.
Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
Support coordination of clinical services and collaboration with healthcare providers.
