Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the center of patient care, interacting with customers and building relationships. The role emphasizes training with an ASHP/DOL-recognized apprenticeship and eventual PTCB certification.

Both new entrants and experienced technicians will receive comprehensive training to perform pharmacy tasks, assist pharmacists, and support patient care with modern tools and systems in a patient-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in retail is a plus (6 months).
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• PTCB certification training/eligibility may be pursued.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with inventory management, cash handling and store operations.
