Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the center of patient care, interacting with customers and building strong relationships. The role supports pharmacists, operates pharmacy systems, and participates in an ASHP/DOL-recognized training program to earn PTCB certification.

The position emphasizes a shift toward patient-centric service, keen attention to accuracy, and a commitment to excellent customer experiences across all store operations.

Qualifications

• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience in a customer-facing environment preferred.
• Strong math skills for accuracy in prescriptions and counting.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with store inventory systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and verify information.
• Deliver a high-quality, friendly customer experience and assist customers.
• Support pharmacy department inventory management and ordering processes.
