Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Utah to interact with customers, assist the pharmacist, and help build strong patient relationships. The role includes training through an ASHP/DOL-recognized apprenticeship program to become a certified pharmacy technician.

You will support pharmacy operations, learn to use pharmacy systems, and deliver a high-quality customer experience in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in retail preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist cashiers.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and assist with scheduling and workflow.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong patient relationships.
• Support clinical services as needed and coordinate with medical staff.
