Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the front line with patients, building strong relationships and delivering excellent service in a Walgreens pharmacy.

The role includes training through an earn‑while‑you‑learn program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor. The program guides you toward becoming a PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician and supports ongoing skill development in pharmacy care, technology, and customer service, with

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in retail.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription counting and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy operations as assigned.
