Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice who will engage directly with customers, assist the pharmacist, and learn through Walgreens’ ASHP- and Department of Labor–recognized training program.

The role focuses on building patient relationships and leveraging the latest technology to support safety and accuracy in prescriptions. You’ll work under supervision to process prescriptions, ensure correct drug information, and deliver a high-quality customer experience while

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
Prefer prior Walgreens experience and good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
PTCB certification preferred or pursued through Walgreens training program.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist cashiers.
Provide friendly, patient-centric service and build strong patient relationships.
Enter patient and drug information, check for interactions, and maintain inventory and quality standards.
Support clinical services and coordinate with healthcare providers as needed.
