Job summary

Walgreens is offering a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice role in Minnesota. This position emphasizes patient-centered care over transactional tasks, with training and an earning-by-learning pathway through the ASHP and Department of Labor–recognized program.

You will support pharmacists, use pharmacy systems, and help customers with their prescriptions. Applicants will gain hands-on experience, preparing for PTCB certification, and advancing in a supportive Walgreens team

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math, computer skills, and inventory knowledge.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cash register operations.
• Foster a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and department duties as directed.
• Participate in training to become a certified Pharmacy Technician.
