Job summary

The program offers an ASHP/DOL–recognized apprenticeship to become a PTCB-certified technician, with on-the-job training and a pathway to credentialing.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Prior pharmacy experience is preferred.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Deliver a courteous, distinctive customer experience.
• Schedule and maintain workflow under pharmacist direction.
• Answer phone calls not requiring pharmacist attention.
• Maintain inventory and assist with stock management.
