Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription counting and weighing.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• Preference for PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with regulations.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Support pharmacy operations, including inventory management and cash handling.
• Enter patient and drug information, verify medicine, and check for interactions.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience and greet customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and escalate issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, code of conduct, and Quality Improvement Program.
