Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and in other Pharmacy Department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Handle cash, operate the cash register, and help customers locate products.
• Support clinical and customer service activities as required.
