Job summary

Walgreens is transforming its pharmacy technician roles to be more patient-centric, offering an apprenticeship path toward PTCB certification. You'll work closely with customers, assist pharmacists, and develop relationships while leveraging Walgreens technology and training resources.

The program emphasizes earning while you learn and gaining credentialed skills to advance in pharmacy care. Training covers customer service, workflow, and clinical support within a Walgreens setting.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience (preferred) considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and handle cash/register transactions.
• Communicate with customers to deliver a positive service experience.
• Maintain inventory and assist with stocking and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and staff with general duties as assigned.
