Job summary

Walgreens Co. Roeland Park, KS is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to train while working in our customer-focused pharmacy. You’ll assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and learn to use pharmacy systems under direct supervision, with the goal of earning PTCB certification.

This part-time role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy in medication handling, cash register duties, and collaboration with store teams to support patient care and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience preferred (six months).
• PTCB certification or active pursuit is preferred; certification may be required for promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy practices.
• Process prescriptions and enter information into pharmacy systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with patients.
• Participate in inventory management and stocking.
• Handle cash register operations and basic clerical duties.
