Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centered team. You will assist pharmacists, interact with customers, and gain hands-on experience with pharmacy systems and tools as you grow toward a PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in retail preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy operations.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and enter patient and drug information.
• Handle cash and assist customers for a positive experience.
• Support inventory management and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Coordinate with pharmacists on clinical services as needed.
