Job summary

Walgreens is expanding its pharmacy technician roles to be more patient-centered, offering training and development to advance toward PTCB certification. This program emphasizes learning through hands-on experience with latest technology and supportive supervision from pharmacists.

We train you to use pharmacy systems, process prescriptions, and ensure accurate patient information while delivering a distinctive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.
• Good math skills for counting and measuring medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control beneficial.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and record-keeping.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and verify information.
• Maintain accurate inventory and handle stock responsibilities.
• Provide a courteous, helpful customer experience.
