Job summary

Walgreens is seeking Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to engage with customers, support the pharmacist, and learn through an ASHP/DOL‑recognized apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred (or in training).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and labeling medications; check for interactions.
• Deliver customer service and build strong relationships with patients and customers.
• Assist with inventory management and store operations in the Pharmacy Department.
