Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice to join our patient-centered team. You will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and interact with customers using our pharmacy systems and tools.

A strong emphasis is placed on earning while you learn through our ASHP/DOL-certified technician training program. Applicants should be fluent in English, willing to work evenings and weekends, and have retail experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Retail experience preferred (6 months)
• PTCB certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions
• Register sales on the cash register and handle cash
• Support inventory management and maintain store cleanliness and organization
