Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to engage with customers, build patient relationships, and support pharmacists in a patient-centric pharmacy setting. The role includes training through an ASHP & Department of Labor approved apprenticeship, with the goal of earning PTCB certification and advancing within Walgreens.

The program provides hands-on experience with pharmacy systems, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow into certified technician roles

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and follow company policies.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and ensure accuracy.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Handle cash and assist with inventory management and clerical duties.
