Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Technician Apprentice to be at the center of patient care, interacting with customers and supporting the pharmacist with prescriptions and services. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient data, fill prescriptions, and help with inventory and cash handling while delivering a friendly customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• PTCB certification preferred or pursued within program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and handling prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems, and process prescriptions.
• Assist with inventory management, cash handling, and OTC guidance.
• Provide a distinctive, courteous customer experience and build patient relationships.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and the Code of Conduct.
• Support training and onboarding of technician trainees.
