Job summary

Walgreens is hiring Pharmacy Technician positions and Apprentices to be at the center of patient care, interacting with customers and building relationships. The program includes an earned-while-you-learn pathway to PTCB certification and career growth in a tech-enabled environment.

As a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician or Technician Apprentice, you will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting inventory and store operations.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Prefer six months of retail experience.
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription handling.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and entering patient information.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cashiers at the register.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience and build patient relationships.
• Support inventory management: ordering, receiving, stocking, and documenting shortages or discrepancies.
• Assist with clinical services and coordination with Walgreens healthcare clinics as needed.
