Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the forefront of patient-centered care, engaging with customers and building strong patient relationships. Qualifications

Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
Prior work experience with Walgreens preferred.
Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring and weighing medications.
Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience and greet customers.
Support inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
Assist with external providers and coordinate with health care teams.
