Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centric team. You will interact with customers, assist pharmacists, and support daily pharmacy operations while pursuing certification.

Our program emphasizes hands-on learning and ASHP/DoL–recognized training to become a PTCB-certified technician. You will gain practical experience, customer-facing skills, and growth opportunities within Walgreens.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.
• Prior retail experience is preferred.
• PTCB certification or plan to obtain is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a distinctive and caring customer experience.
• Handle cash register and basic clerical tasks as needed.
