Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is a plus.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and pharmacy department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support cashiers.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring medications, verify accuracy, and check for interactions.
• Assist in scheduling workflow and support inventory management activities.
