Job summary

Walgreens is transforming its pharmacy technician roles to be more patient-centric. As a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice, you will engage customers, support pharmacists, and learn through our ASHP/DOL-recognized apprenticeship.

You’ll gain hands-on training to become a PTCB-certified technician and advance within Walgreens. The program guides you toward certification while you work, with supportive training, tools, and pathways to grow in a fast-paced health care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a distinctive and deluxe customer experience.
• Handle cash register operations and inventory tasks as assigned.
