Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Goodlettsville to deliver patient-centric care and support the pharmacist in daily operations.

This role offers an apprenticeship-aligned training program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor, with a path to PTCB certification. You will assist with prescriptions, customer service, and pharmacy system tasks under supervision, in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other duties per policy.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers all related sales and handles cash as required.
